Remember that Synth1 will read the presets while still in ZIP form; you don't have to unzip the files. Just point them to where the folder is. Sweet.
Watch this video, (25,000 patches) especially starting a 10:45, to see how to put all banks in a folder "zipbank'.

My guess is the title of VitaminD's bank will be found under "VitaminD".
Yup, I was right.
The patches are varied.
Why not try them for yourself ? download the bank and replace your existing zip with the new one - all the old ones appear to be there, so no harm done. Then spend the next month going through 25000 patches.

The best way to go through 25,000 patches is with this Synth1 Librarian VST Plugin: https://neutrinosky.com/
Features:
Organises your patches into over 50 Categories
Uses heuristics to find similar sounding patches
Lets you reorganise your Patches, however you want
Random patch selection, to help find undiscovered sounds
Intelligently scans your entire zipbank folder for patches
Automatically excludes duplicate libraries
Create your own Categories and Banks
Save custom patches from Synth1 directly into your own banks
Apply colouring to any patch
Patch parameters can be adjusted/automated from the host DAW
Windows 10 and too many plugins

I think the best point of the Librarian is to search for a sound you are interested in (it auto tags them into categories) or for those that sound somewhat similar to one you have selected (using heuristics).dellboy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 5:28 pmGood point.zzz00m wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 2:42 pm The best way to go through 25,000 patches is with this Synth1 Librarian VST Plugin: https://neutrinosky.com/

That seriously reduces the amount of auditioning to find what you want. And it eliminates the duplicates.
Or you could listen to them all, and mark your favorites. If you have plenty of spare time...

Here is a good bundle of Synth1 patches (over 14,000+) in a single zip file, containing 173 freely available zip banks that the contributor could find (last updated 7/3 2017).

All of those are already contained in the 25K pack. After all, it's an expanded and updated version of the one you linked.zzz00m wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 5:48 pm Here is a good bundle of Synth1 patches (over 14,000+) in a single zip file, containing 173 freely available zip banks that the contributor could find (last updated 7/3 2017).

I'm putting together the cleanest Synth1 preset library possible. I collated everything from the free 25K pack (plus some more roboticrealm patches) into a zipbank to hopefully end all zipbanks.
Features:
- 16.563 presets - Absolutely no duplicates!
- (kinda) organized... still working on it
- 100% compatible with vanilla Synth1 and Librarian
Instructions:
Unzip the file into your zipbank folder, but NOT the zips inside. If you're using Synth1 Librarian, rebuild your library.
Download!
If I messed up some folder names and readmes, please let me know and I will update it.
