Even better, make it like Hive 2, where it replaces Hive 1. I'm not a fan of the NI, Arturia way of treating an upgrade like it's a Whole New Synth™, especially being on OS X with the forthcoming Catalina jump away from 32 bit software and possible issues etc.

(I'm not upgrading to Catalina anytime soon, but it will happen eventually)

Yes please re: spectral resynthesis/additive resynthesis etc.

Falcon is already a pad machine, that would take it to the next level.

The UVI portal already installs Factory sounds 2.0. Additive seems to be the new one, doesn't work in 1.6 of course...

That's interesting. I just checked my account, and the factory sounds are 2.0, but Falcon is 1.6.6. Maybe later in the day the program itself will be updated. Additive would be a great addition.

I'm having trouble updating my UVI portal..it keeps telling me that "files are in use" (I have nothing else open) and something about being unable to replace the file.

Is this just because things are being changed or should I uninstal the portal and re-install?

Unfortunately I now need to go out for 30 mins ..I wanted to be ahead of the rush!
