thanks. yeah i'm going to have to watch those. i am able to make great sounds but there are a lot of things that are confusing me. shouldn't be a big deal.

next thing is deciding what to do with this voucher, whether to save it and use on synth anthology or toys, or ... grab drum designer. which looks cool.

I've used Serum and Massive X but I just threw together a basic Wavetable bass and it shocked me how good it sounded (with various external effects that I use all the time)

just spent 2 hours playing with it, got totally lost. only problem now is I need to go work out and I want to keep playing

Wait until you start creating from scratch crazy patches with your own samples dropped in the Granular or Ircam Stretch oscillators! Crazy deep stuff. But don't worry, you'll get used to it and find your way with a little time and a bit of devotion. Totally worth it.

Can the $100 be used on any software in UVI shop?? like BeatBox Anthology 2 ?? Cheers !!

Btw, why i did mention Falcon's voices engine, just i have H6 too, and once tried reproduce various unison configs with analog osc in H6, and my feelings\observation, that unison (stereospread, character of detune) in Falcon sounds better, unfortunately or vice versa. This is not partiality, i am interested in both products, and there are things that i like in H6, and it’s clear that there are tons of other ways in Halion to create beautiful and wide atmos\pads (for example i very like how sounding built in H6 reverb). But just my feelings that unison not his forte.
And by some reason i doubt that this nuance will change in future halion versions.
Although of course there is always chance that i just did something wrong or miss.

Free UI scaling never worked for me. Any help?

IDK why but the Factory content is being a pain in the ass to download.

I just bought UVI Drum Designer and it's downloading fine. Not sure what's going on.

That said, Drum Designer and Falcon for for 300 is pretty great

I guess download speeds are a common issue with UVI. I got Drum Designer to 100 then it failed to extract, happened before with Falcon before I got it working too. But now for some reason it's downloading at like 30kbps. And now it's back to normal speed.

I’m a huge Falcon fanboy, but give me the H6 wavetable and granular synths any day of the week. There are some other things I like about H. But, most of the Falcon effects and filters are better than the H equivalent. Which are both suffering to most of the new synth filters that have been coming out. Hopefully we’ll see some filter tweaks from both camps.
