On your recommendation, I checked Youtube for some gigs. The whole bass situation freaked me out a little bit, at first. He's playing a right-handed bass, left-handed and upside-down

was some free afternoon party in manc city centre.
no manc swagger, just good tunes and looked like they where enjoying it as much as everyone else. which at that time was unusual as everyone wanted to be the gallaghers

Yeah! They definitely seem to have more of the chilled Manc vibe. I remember seeing the video for 'Black and White Town' on some MTV (or similar), back in the day, and thought it was a stockin' track. After hearing 'Snowden', I had to buy the CD. Good album, on the whole. Not sure why I never followed them, after that
