Go to http://www.dangerousbear.comand pick up a free selection of Hollow Sun Sounds in sf2 and some new loops I put up in Acid wav.

The Hollow Sun library will be available on cd in sf2,with original dBu patches for various synths and samplers that read that format.More details later as the project comes together,but it does tie in with the VSampler release.A free VSampler demo should be available soon.

The loops are from an upcoming Acid and possibly rex collection due out in another few weeks.The free loops you can download now will give you an inkling of how diverse and twisted they are.

I'm working on the technical side of something special I want to do for dBu users as a community.That is,to make dBu sounds users into a community,interactive with each other as well as with the company.I've mentioned this before,but it's taking some time to get done right.As soon as I can put it together the way it needs to be done,the promised announcement will be made.

Meanwhile,grab the sounds and make some noise!

I should say that it's a matter of when and not if I'll be releasing in rex. My very good freind Paul from tunejet.com has been rexing things for me for the Hollow Sun Reason projects,but it's about time that I got ReCycle myself.So, it's definately when not if, but I still can't say when for sure.

I've just put up a few sounds for Crystal.They are from about a year ago when I first got it. These are just a few things I came up with in the first few days experimenting with the randomization and breeding functions. Then, some editing.

They are uploaded as individual fxps rather than as an fxb because I started from a factory preset (Tangerine), and never renamed it from that menu when I saved the fxps. So in Crystal's mod page patch browser, they all say Tangerine. You'll need to use your host patch browser to find and load the patches by their actual names.

These are rough experiments, but I have at times used them, and thought that I would share them. I love this synth more all the time. I'm having a sort of Crystal renaissance and will be doing some more (properly named in banks) patches over time

There's a new FreeFill by the estimable floyd. These NNXT patches are very special, and the sampling by floyd first rate. Be the first in your neighborhood to have them all together as a refill. Get the download from http://www.dangerousbear.com/freeware.html

The Hollow Sun sf2 full version is very nearly ready, and work will begin shortly on new dBu presets in various formats, including the already mentioned VSampler,plus some possible surprises in terms of native format support.

The loop library is also on schedule. The Acid version may be out as soon as next week, rex to follow asap.

Thank you, and I hope that you're liking them. I just did 10 more yesterday,and will try to do a few more today. I am also combing the archives for more. I want the first Dangerous Bear loop library to be special.

Now up, a FreeFill by Rob Lawes, Zimulator Subtractor Percussion Volume One. This is, as the name implies a collection of ReDrum kits made from samples of Rob's Subtractor patches. Drum synthesis at its best.
