Imagine if you could send audio tracks to a group track, and it would display the waveform of the composite track which could be edited and processed yet react to alterations made on the original audio (wow, deep breath
). For example, you could send all your drums to a buss, then edit the composite drum track with the ability to change gain, EQ etc on the audio tracks. You could mix stems which could easily be altered at any point! I reckon this could be done without to much hassle, and it would be a huge improvement imo. Im alway mixing down stems so i can process and edit the composite audio, but i often wish i could go back an alter the mix slightly - this is a right blag at the moment!How would you improve your DAW?
