Why?
- I only have a ES335 clone and I'd like to get to know other types
- a solid body should be quieter acoustically
- the ES335 isn't the most ergonomic design, compared to today's standards
- I think the Triton is pretty on pics
- did I mention the Triton is pretty on pics?
- I've ordered a Revelation Jazzblaster but it refuses to arrive - buying another may tempt Fate to make both arrive simultaneously, just to piss me off.
- got one at a proper discount. If I had more money, I'd have bought one from Anderton's, where you can see the actual look of the guitar you're buying. Especially nice in this case, but who knows, I may get lucky.
- it's Fiesta red if one wears the right colour of glasses
- I'm pretending to have a midlife crisis (at my age a man has to do what needs to be done, whether he likes it or not)
- watching porn has made me uncertain so I needed a new big phallic symbol to string and stimulate until it squirts funk and resin.

Of course I'd also like a copy of the Bea Rabea bariton version. Must try to resist now. Where's my Whammy?

@reggie1979:
I know Guitar Rig hasn't been updated in ages, and that competition is fierce in the amp sim market.

As to it being dead, I guess so cause I've never fed my copy, so if it was alive when I bought it I'm afraid it must have perished by now, and if it wasn't it must have been dead to begin with.

I was joking considering the other thread. Sorry.

No worries, I was joking too.

I would have picked red too, you know what they say about red haired girls - I mean guitars. You picked a pretty one!
It's slowly getting better, though it won't be at 100% for quite some time (if ever). Might post delicious gore pics in OT later :scared:

But i've done some playing on the new beauty already (carefully). According to my wife, my face was something like this: :D

I guess we're starting the KVR chapter of the Chapman fan club :hihi:

I played one when I visited Thomann recently. Holy fuckballs of fire is it ever a beauty to behold and a pleasure to play and an experience to listen to.

I cannot recommend enough to go visit Andertons (or whichever music store closest to you that has one) and have a play around, even if you don't end up buying one.

I'm really just disappointed that there isn't a cock on that guitar. :hihi:

That's not my mine. My bass 6 (in Fiesta Red) is much dirtier than that. You didn't think I'm the type of twat who has guitar stands? :hihi:

We'll see if/when it arrives. But by the looks of it, it's at least on par with my Klon KTR here. Which I won't describe with superlatives, because........ :ud:

And if all is good, I plan to buy a second Prince of Tone, so I can put some fairy dust pedal between them, and thus end up having a King of Tone XXL.

But that's just a plan for now.

Anyone have some tips what can I put between two Princes? Mmmmm? Something I haven't thought about but should have?

One thing I have learned in this thread....I might be OCD when it comes to noise :hihi:
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
