(Let's forget that Analog Lab is on sale at the moment)

Normally Analog Lab 4 costs 199e.
I can buy an Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 for 198e.
The Arturia KeyLab includes Analog Lab 3, but upgrading to Analog 4 is free.

Is there something not right with the above equation? Is the Analog Lab 3 lab included with the keylab some demo/light version not eligible for the free upgrade to 4?

You will probably get the latest version of AnalogLab once you register your Keylab serial on the Arturia web site. it will be available as a download under your products section. The onc on the CD in the box might be analoglab 3.

Keylab includes analoglab. i dont own a keylab but i dont think there is a lite version of analog lab. its the other synths that its comes included with that determined the sounds and presets you will get.

So, hang on, buying the KeyLab with Analog Lab included is actually cheaper than buying just Analog Lab? That's.. I mean, that that's great, but it just seem too good to be true!

Depends where you are I guess. On my screen, it shows $100 for AL 4 w/ 2 sound banks. The Keylab 49 is $250

Yeah it's on a heavy 50% sale at the moment, usual price is 199.

KeyLab 49 is 198 moneys here (Europe), and I thought 99e for Analog LAb was a great offer (it is), but if I can get a KeyLab, a useless Ableton Live Lite license, AND Analog Lab version for just a 100 more...

all depends if you need a new 49 key midi controller. you are still paying for the controller.
