Hey guys. Where do you look up if a name already exists?
And how about a name which e.g. exists on soundcloud 1 time but the person has no tracks. What can you do in this case?

Thx

Yep.

TBH, i'm not sure how many names are still available yet, unless you want to go cryptic. I more and more think the easiest way would be just to... use your own name. :) Depending on the genre, of course. Not sure if a punk band called John Smith would be that sensible. :D

I had to ask a guy on Facebook not to use the same name as me (my surname). He said he made it up and assumed no-one would be using it :O
THIS IS MY MUSIC: https://spti.fi/rZyjX7i :phones:

call yourself 'mungo jerry'. it's unlikely anyone would have thought to use that before.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Convince the person to start making music

One option is to build up on existing band names. Like The Beatlestones. Pink Zeppeling. Yes Pistols. Etc.

The Dire Sabbath Velvet Orchestra is an obvious one.
