I know, many of you are not fans of one finger presets. But maan is it useful in live performances like this. Also a good demonstration of the Glitch FX on drums.
Great! And one finger presets are very good for inspiration, too!

also fun for me to sort of take them apart of just use one layer or something.

We created a test version for a group of chosen testers. They checked everything and we fixed a few small issues. Preset creation is almost done now. Preparing the setups and everything still need a bit of time. But it's just a matter of days. Should be released during the next week.

So, just received an email regarding the release of 1.7.0. This has been long awaited

However, with the new features included, aren't there any new sounds (besides the FX presets) included? I see the factory sound file is still the same.

We updated RAPID to version 1.7 and it's now available.

What is new?

A NEW LOOK
We added a new main theme and improved the overall visual style. We listened to the wishes of all of you and reworked the fonts, the colors and made it a darker style, so it's easier on the eyes. The older themes are still available and also include the new fonts.

INSERT POWER

Sync Bend A
Sync Bend B.
Organic Drift.

There are three new oscillator insert effects. The new synchronization bends combine hard sync and phase bending to achieve some interesting and complex wave manipulations.

The drift insert adds a randomized organic behavior to each unison voice, ideal for analog emulation and vintage patches. It's comparable to the heat dependent properties of analog component and adds small inaccuracies to add unique characteristics.

FILTER WIZARDRY

Pro LP 12dB.
Pro LP 24dB.
Xtreme LP II.

There are three new lowpass filters. The designs of these filters are based on analog architectures and implement a more intricate feedback drive and resonance behavior.

REVERB MAGIC

Nuclear.
Solar.
Nova.
Space.

The new models extend the existing reverb by adding a new internal early and late reflection model and smooth the spectral impulse and frequency decay. They simulate different space sizes from small (Nuclear) to very large (Space).

RAPID FX
It's now possible to use Rapid as effect plugin. The FX (Effect) version of Rapid is an additional plugin and already included in the new setup. It will be installed alongside the normal Rapid Synthesizer plugin. You may have to re-scan your plugin list/database. Look out for Rapid FX.

FX PRESETS
We also added a basic set of 93 FX presets. You can find them in the preset browser, mostly named with the prefix FX. e.g. "FX Ambiance" includes some reverb effects. Definitely try out the macros of these presets, they can easily add very complex motion to your mixer track and are ideally suited for build ups, drops and other track highlights.

Looks and sounds really good, I have. Even following the development of this synth for a while ...never jumped in as I have a few beasts already like Avenger and Falcon, but this update has made me reconsider.

Added to my want list...will buy this next time there is a decent sale (sale season approaching!)

I don't find the preset he shows in the video in this release. Why don't you add the presets you show in these video's?
