Or just using whatever samples you already have...

I obviously going to use falcon for the other features like the analog oscillator, wavetables, granular etc. but also I want to use it for the sampling part of it, and I like to know if you can really get out any value by adding falcon to the UVI libraries like changing filters or adding modulation, using the samples in other sounds or something along those lines as UVI does little effort if any in showing what are the possibilities of adding Falcon to the UVI vintage libraries.Lucastyle wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:53 pmyou mean like sampling my own instruments ?EvilDragon wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:46 pm It's probably more worth it if you're gonna do your own stuff with it rather than just mess about with the libraries.

I'd like to know if you can change a ADSR envelope in the UVI libraries for something a like a multi stage envelope, or adding distortion bit reduction before the filters or something like that

Yes indeed:Lucastyle wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 11:24 pm I'd like to know if you can change a ADSR envelope in the UVI libraries for something a like a multi stage envelope, or adding distortion bit reduction before the filters or something like that

A $50 off voucher here if anyone wants to use it. I got it with the Expressive-E Touché, but already have Falcon.

I have Kontakt and it took me forever to figure out how to get multiple outputs; the bizarre multi-font and multi-size interface is a real turnoff. I never dig down in it. I own Ableton Live and basically dont understand how to use it. Falcon 2 I understand. Reaktor, forget it. I run that Additive synth once in a while. Again I don't find it interesting to learn more about it. Falcon just seems open, expansive, logical, and fun.
And like um Serum is a tiny window, , conceptually small. Go ahead buy Waves Codex, it's only 40 bucks. See how fun that is...

I agree for the most part, but I'm admittedly still new to Falcon in terms of programming, and I have no idea if or where a list of automation or CC values is in it? In Kontakt it's a menu item, all CC and track automation is instantly and readily visible. I was looking to change the value of the automation on an MPE patch and I'm lost.newuser2014 wrote: Tue Oct 29, 2019 11:50 am 7:49 AM 2019.10.29

...or you can right-click the control you want and assign host automation right there.

It can be interesting to load up a library (such as one from Vintage Vault) and then switch the oscillator type to Granular and mess around with the settings in there.Lucastyle wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 11:16 pmI obviously going to use falcon for the other features like the analog oscillator, wavetables, granular etc. but also I want to use it for the sampling part of it, and I like to know if you can really get out any value by adding falcon to the UVI libraries like changing filters or adding modulation, using the samples in other sounds or something along those lines as UVI does little effort if any in showing what are the possibilities of adding Falcon to the UVI vintage libraries.Lucastyle wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:53 pmyou mean like sampling my own instruments ?EvilDragon wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:46 pm It's probably more worth it if you're gonna do your own stuff with it rather than just mess about with the libraries.

Here is a set I'd like to share with the Falcon users here, it's called Black Forest
Black Forest is a configurable program for UVI Falcon.
Geared toward the dark cinematic type of sounds, It can be used as an Ambiance Generator or effect generator. A wide range of sounds can be made given its highly configurable macro panel.
The set contains:
7 programs
1 multi
1 effect rack preset
requires UVI Falcon and 17mb of space
https://www.dacodaji.com
use code dacodaji at checkout

Hope you Enjoy
