I'm looking for good riser and impact sound libraries.
Preferably free! If not, then as cheap as possible (budget: under $50 each).
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

During Black Friday you might catch a big sale on NI Rise & Hit. Regular price is $150.

Sometimes you can get AIR Risers for $10.
I think ZeroG has some libraries that go on sale, too.

One of the sound libraries labels I use most for risers, impacts, subs etc, is cinetools. Have a nice diverse collection across their libraries, but mainly in the sci-fi, horror and fantasy film type sounds. They have a few mini libraries that focus on risers and impacts, can’t find the one I’ve got atm, but there are these two.

There are quite a few plugin libraries that are worth a look, I use uvi meteor, which is a bit pricey, but goes on sale, works in the free uvi player. One I’ve had my eye on tho is called whoosh by tonsturm, works in the free reaktor player and looks very well thought out, $99 usually but might be on sale black friday or christmas time. Not sure if these are the sort of things your after, just sharing what I use and have on my wishlist.

Ghosthack have a small pack of free FX and there's also a sale going on now.

Then there's Cymatics - love 'em or hate 'em - but they have some packs for very little money.

You could also get a free trial month for Loopcloud and handpick FX samples with the credits you get. Same for Splice I think. I don't know of the top of my head, if they have a free trial, but I think there are at least some codes floating around the net that give you one month for a Dollar or so.

Keepforest has a nice taster pack that’s free, some usable sounds in there, bit on the spicey side, kontakt and wav files for editing and mangling.

I've never used or demoed the following, but they exist:
https://store.alexpfeffer.co/products/tonal-risers
https://store.alexpfeffer.co/products/tonal-downers
Impacts... lots more out there. Way too many to list. One place to start could be SoundIron - tons of good stuff for reasonable prices, given the quality.

I use Rise and Hit, UVI Meteor for impacts, but there is also UVI Whoosh (which is different from Tonstrum Whoosh): https://www.uvi.net/whoosh-fx
Definitely wait for the UVI sale but if risers etc are important parts for your production it might be worth the investment.
