Still no NKS support?

Post

I have no upgrade coupon in my account. :/ Contacted their support. Bought MiniSyn'X this summer.

I’ve got NKS, I think it’s from the old version but works fine.

Ah yes - I needed to rescan those, but the new installer doesn't install any of the new presets as NKS

According to Xils, this was a very rare case of duplicate account (which can't be possible now since they modified their system last year) This should be now fixed.

Ok, got it, thanks.
A bit of pure modular joy embedded in an otherwise fully multimbral and polyphonic monster. You can still modulate these modulators in real time with mod wheel, aftertouch velocity, or Midi Cc etc for otherwordly results.

Some of those sounds no other analog synth can do : Multitimbral, custom order of effects, combined keyboards/Unison/PlayMode/Layers/Polyphony.

And ... some sounds some other synthesizer can do, but not with the same sound character.

Nice. :)

There is some good moments.

Ok, understand.

+ and -1 octave for the sequencer transpose would be cool

Love how it sounds and all the quirky features, but the UI is just so clunky and hard to read. Feel MiniSynX has the right amount of complexity for this kind of rudimentary GUI. :)

It could. A quick turnaround is simply to transpose the layer the sequencer part uses.

The GUI/UI panel shows a complete layer. You can use up to 8 layers -A to H- (and switching layers or multilayer editing is easy, including relative edit in case of multilayer editing)

The GUI/UI has been revamped, and the good thing is that you can now switch from Eazy (a la minisyn'x) panel to advanced full edit modes more easily, while preserving the sound and data. It's difficult to include so much possibilities in a single panel view, so yes, some synthesis blocks are tabbed (like the 4 LFOs, additional envelopes and effects). Once you're used to it, it's imho both intuitive and fast to work with. This said, if the MiniSyn'X is enough, there's no need for the Syn'X and all it's additional features and possibilities.

I was just wondering why the GUI looks unusual to me, now I know, it doesn't have a display :hihi:

Anyway, I would rearrange the filter section a bit to look like this (unless of course some additional control pops up in the big empty part of the filter section under certain conditions), also using bigger knobs for frequency and resonance:
