Would you do it again by hand if you would earn $1100 with it? Nothing wrong with paying a fee, I just wonder if an automated process could be had cheaper... Would leave more for the charity...

No I wouldn't. In fact, if I hadn't found RallyUp I would not have started a new fundraising this year, simply due to lack of time... so it would be automated or not happening.

But PayPal is not free either, they take their cut too at 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction and on top of that, a currency conversion / exchange rate fee when charities withdraw to their bank account.
