Midi Controller for Bitwig 3

Hello everyone,
I am looking into midi controllers for Bitwig 3. I am very disappointed in my Nektar Impac LX25+. It used to work well with Bitwig 2, but doesn't map to 3. I'm thinking the Komplete Kontrol M32. I think I'd like the touch strips and the smart play mode seems amazing. Also, I like the idea of having 8 knobs to map. Does anyone know if the "infinity knobs" on the M32 will map to Bitwig 3 modulators? Mapping 8 knobs is a must for my next controller, so it's this or the Akai MPK Mini MK2. I think I read the M32 now has a script for Bitwig, is this true?
Thanks

I played around a little bit in bitwig 2 with my Push 1 controller using the mossgrabers script and it worked surprisingly wellmonophonK wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 9:40 pm Check:

I'm not aware of any controller that can directly control MODULATORS. Typical workflow is to map modulator parameters (e.g. Depth or Rate of the LFO) to remotes and then control those from the controller. All good scripts will map 8 encoders to the remotes' bank in currently selected device and - if there are buttons or pads available - use those to switch between remotes' pages and devices within the chain. If your controller doesn't have a script (factory or otherwise) you can most of the time use Flexi to make your own custom script without any coding - just choose action, move a knob / slider / pad and repeat until done.nocollabbro wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 8:19 pmDoes anyone know if the "infinity knobs" on the M32 will map to Bitwig 3 modulators?

Yes, I support the M32. BUT it is a very bad choice since the protocol of this device allows only very basic Mix settings, like Volume and Pan (this is not Bitwig specifc). There is no control for parameters! At the larger models I could work around this limitation but not on the A-series and the M32.nocollabbro wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 8:19 pm Mapping 8 knobs is a must for my next controller, so it's this or the Akai MPK Mini MK2. If you are looking for a small device, the new Launchkey Mini Mk3 is very good alternative with much more features.
Check out my Youtube channel for videos about both (and much more):
