Who in the flippin' hades is SenEnser (Germany)? I seen this mic for sale online a few months ago and never heard of the manufacturer, but obviously I know who Sennheiser is. I couldn't find any other info on the mic before it was purchased by some un-lucky sap, but I did save a screenshot before the mystery mic vanished. I was going to ask the seller if there was any further information on it, but I was thinking it was probably just made of plastic - or something. Only thing is, the XLR input looks like it might be made of chromed metal, so I'm not sure.

Possible fake or maybe a custom brand that Sennheiser made for someone? Vintage perhaps ? Chinese knock-off ?? But why would a Chinese manufacturer stamp it with "Germany"? So wtf..

Oh, one more unusual thing I noticed about it.. Check this out: Sen (Sennheiser), Enser (CondEnser) :hihi: :ud:  Elementary, dear Watson

Wait.. wouldn't a dynamic condenser be an oxymoron ? There must be a capsule hidden in there !

For a tenner each, who fecking cares. They were worth less than the postage.
Just the word "Germany" means nothing. But if it said "made in" as well, it would be a lie.

Nb that black hexagonal washer makes it really ugly.

From the same seller, an item which has nothing to do with Winnie the Poo:

Yep, that's the guy who was selling it. I also wondered wtf the deal was with the Winnie the Poo and Disney obsession. :hihi: Then a rogue Beatles puzzle for good measure too, interesting.

BTW, the angled washer is an anti-rolling design. I believe sE Electronics is the only one who makes them like that these days (namely the V7), so maybe they're related somehow. Is it possible the SenEnser was an early version of an sE Electronics mic? (notice the S-E thing again, like Senn-condEnser) Their website says they were founded in the year 2000, so maybe it was a start-up company of sE. Incidentally, their CEO is Asian.

Tex Murphy, eat your heart out.
