Did the update here. No re-boot required. (Win 7 64 bit)

There aren't really any new skins it's just the dark skin has been reworked to be a little less dark and does seem a bit more usable. The red still burns my eyes but nothing we can do about that at least for now.

If you change to the White Screen or Big Screen you have to remove Predator 2 and then reload it....at least that's the way it works here but they both do work just fine.

Do you mean is it possible to get a screen like the one shown in your link ? Yes just select "White Screen" from the back panel.

If you mean could we have a grey skin that's no so bright, I would welcome that here. The white screen is just too bright for long periods of use especially when used with Big Screen.

Predator 2 is one synth that could benefit from user skinning options.

predator 2 works amazing with a roli seaboard, especialy xy pad. Hope there will be mpe support in near future

Either that, or the latest newsletter from Rob Papen was just a reminder to user that a second skin option is available.

A couple of weeks ago they used their newsletter to remind that RP-Amod is free for any customer. Which it has been like forever, but newbies might have missed that info.

I am enjoying using Predator 2 here. It definitely sounds a little aged in its synth engine but it is working perfectly in an old skool track I am making. Got just the right sound for it. Predator is an immensely powerful synth. I think it is a bit of a classic as it has the thread of the other Rob Papen synths running in its blood, especially Albino. I am glad I installed it when I rebuilt my machine, I thought it might not get much use but it is doing just what I need. Just showing a bit of love for a VSTi classic.

XY Pad = So old skool.

GUI tends not to bother me much on synths, it is least important as long as it all works well. I think ultimately I slightly prefer the old GUI. The new is probably a bit cleaner on the eyes. I weirdly liked getting lost in the old one's kind of Terminator Red/Black Silver inspired control panel.

Is there any chance of a "Classic" Skin for Predator 2 that looks like the old Predator with its futuristic metallic visual ? The split black on top silver on bottom broke it up a bit on the eyes. The new is presented as a monolithic gigantic set of synth parameters.

It is all fine really though just an observation. It is a very good, fun to tweak synth.

I see a new version has come out recently. Predator2 v1.0.4 - I still have a sweet spot for Predator 2, it may not be the "best" sounding in 2018, but then again many call the best something I do not agree with. It does a lot and is a classic. I respect RP and this keeps me coming back for more, I usually have at least 1 Predator 2 in a track.

Nice to know this mature and stable synth is being updated and taken care of, good show RP.

The previous version does look better save for the red font displays which have been a bit of an eye strain. It looks like V2 is a rack extension, I just hope it's not how the VST version looks.

Ok next question.

After logging into my account I don’t see an upgrade coupon as per the FAQs. Has this changed or am I doing something silly?

Rob Papen Predator 2 will coming on 25 November :)
