Didn't think I'd care much about any new acoustic drum kit library but this sounds pretty amazing and unique.

I agree, they sound gorgeous. I have the Jazz Brush kit from Addictive Drums but it's totally geared toward jazz (they are great at this though). This is a much wider palette. And they have the sequencing stuff from Konkrete/ElectroAcoustic/Samulnuri, they are inspiring and useful. Gotta see how much I have left over after the charity auction.

Yeah I've got the AD brush kit as well and it's great but has their usual warm/round kind of tone, which is nice, but this one seems totaly different. The detail is amazing, very clear and big sounding.

Time will tell I guess, but I think this will easily become my favourite kit. Beautifully thought through

All the mics in Moonkits are raw from the desk, none of the EQ is 'baked-in', so you can tweak this however you like - NI's Solid EQ available on every channel.

Sounds realy good, I like the Soniccoulture stuff and was tempted by this but I am just put off by the small GUI in Kontakt ( I am using a 4K monitor). Also I have Roots SDX - Brushes, Rods & Mallets which is what I am currently using in SD3, so I can probably resist the GAS even though the 80% off bundle is very tempting...
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I have that SDX and used Kontakt's MIDI out from Konkrete to play the SDX drums to get a similar vibe. Konkrete has pretty much the same beat tools/Euclidean beats.SLiC wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:10 am Sounds realy good, I like the Soniccoulture stuff and was tempted by this but I am just put off by the small GUI in Kontakt ( I am using a 4K monitor). Yeah, in case you've never tried it you first need to go into the Kontakt preferences to enable MIDI note output.SLiC wrote: Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:40 pmI had never thought of that, interesting...WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:27 pmI have that SDX and used Kontakt's MIDI out from Konkrete to play the SDX drums to get a similar vibe.
