Hello friends , i would like to know if it is possible to put an fx before the instrument in cubase pro 10 ? Thx.

It is usually not possible, an effect processes audio, and an instrument doesn’t have audio inputs, except when the developer provides a special FX version of the synth with inputs (e.g. to process the audio with the filters of a synth). That you could use on an insert just as any other effect plugin, but then it isn’t an instrument anymore, it is an effect.

Why? How would that change the output of the instrument in any way (assuming you mean audio FX, not a MIDI FX)?

fx before VST instrument ?
