He reminds me of how I looked 20 years ago.... :D funnily it was 20 years ago that I had spent 3 weeks in Wiemar and where I ended up looking like as tanned as him lol.

Good to see an update with the more modern version of Studio One though, as the previous ones they had were kinda dated. Dunno, if these will teach me anything I don't know already with Studio One as I have a pretty good understanding of it after five years... other than that... it might be quite entertaning. Will there be more than 20 video's though...

It's good for all newcomers to S1, though.
It would be nice to see an ATB or Jody Wisternoff masterclass using S1.

These are actually kinda nice and not to long and drawn out , I'm probably adhd a tad never been diagnosed but I get bored easy so these videos are spot on. Presonus did good getting this guy to do the tutorials . I think I'm gonna save these to watch later in YouTube and try to learn things a tad better .

Good, Studio One needs more tutorials and guides. There isn't a whole lot of material out there compared to some of the most popular DAWs.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

This tutorial series is actually really good. I agree with AdvancedFollower that there isn't much material available in the form av tutorials for Studio One. You see a lot of FL Studio (ofc, the most cracked and spread DAW, but with a lousy workflow), Live, Cubase and Logic tutorials out there though. The intuitive workflow of Studio One is superior to most other DAW's, if not ALL, and I'm saying this owning 7 other DAW's as well).

On the minus side though, Studio One can sometimes be a bit "boring" to work in, at least comparing to Reason and Bitwig, but if I feel that way, I just switch DAW for a while :)

True dat. Even though there is the one or the other video. E.g., i was looking for something in Impact, and found a tutorial on YT explaining it.

If it's "boring" in the sense of being able to do something without a big amount of work, effort, and brain twist, then i consider that a good thing. :D

I meant "boring" in the way it can be a bit too "streamlined" sometimes. Tbh, Reason and Bitwig are way more creative (=different), which triggers my creative sense. But I agree with you, Studio One is easy to understand, has the best workflow (as mentioned in my last post) and is the most effortless DAW out there, and therefore also my no.1 DAW.

Yeah, i understand what you mean. I guess i'm a fan of boring. :) Reason, for example, never really motivated me to dig deeper. It promises a "easy" workflow, yet relies on getting modular with certain things, which is not really easy for me. But, for someone who wants to experiment, or try something else, it's surely more rewarding than Studio One, which is more traditional, Cubase like.

I really liked these videos . Not long and drawn out most were just 5-7 mins a couple were over 10 mins . S1V4 pretty good host and easy to use even if you don't use half these features . I like Reaper and Waveform or any linear host to be honest to me they are easy to use just to record audio and midi events and use some basic effects for mixing . I'm not a power user but I'll definitely try some of these tips in these videos.
