Is There a Vst app that can tell the key of samples as well

as change them to whatever you want like acid can? prefferably free but most importantly light on the cpu I really only need that feature.

Use Transcribe. Its not the best but it works most of the time. Or... use your ears.

oh, by the way, transcribe usually only works with monophonic stuff. good luck, (oh, that last message wasn't meant to sound so crass).
