How about chilling, and looking in your spam folder? :)

It will be a one-off payment, no subscription. At least not for now.
Why do you assume that I don't check my spam?
I checked thoroughly before posting. I've recieved nothing.
today, nothing.
so maybe a good idea to skip the condescension and fix it.

Sure I will, skip the sarcasm too and we'll be good. If you want some help, please send us an email: support@envoiceapp.com, indicating the email address you've used to sign up if it's different than the one you're using now.

We're almost out of beta! Here is a new demo, written for Emvoice by The Skeleton King. If you want to try Lucy full-range for free, there's a few days left before commercial launch. Enjoy :)

Emvoice One has commercially released: https://emvoiceapp.com/

Twitter https://twitter.com/emvoiceapp/status/1 ... 8007290881

Mac & PC, VST/AU, no standalone. There's an extensive faq on the website.

They have a free "Basic" demo limited to 7 notes. The "Full" version packaged with Lucy's complete vocal range (E2-A4) costs USD $200+VAT
Technically, the Emvoice One plugin itself is free - you can download it in the menu at the top of this website. Due to Emvoice's cloud-based operation, users pay for access to individual voices; not the user interface.

Our first voice, Lucy, costs $200. When we release additional voices, we anticipate that these will be cheaper for those who have bought the first, although we can't fully confirm this sliding scale pricing scheme yet.

I would have bought this day one if it didn't require 'cloud' generation of the voice. When it's possible to use completely offline, I'll look again as it seems to provide great results.

SLH - Yes, I am a woman, deal with it.

$200 too expensive. $100 would be ok.

I know. There's so much going on in this area, but it's all being monetized as a 'service' or requiring internet access to the models, which I'm not interested in. I want offline/local processing.

I know it's possible, just need to the right solution to come along ;)

What is the benefit of this cloud-based model from the program creators'/marketers' perspective? Is it somehow more secure that way?
As a user, the one benefit I see is it is less problematic to use on multiple computers or transfer computers, right?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

For a vocal synthesizer that 1) lacks midi import, 2) can't vary the expression of the voice via parameter automation, and 3) won't run if there's tempo changes in the DAW, that is a very, uh, ambitious price tag.

In other "most realistic vocal synths ever" news!
On 9/29/19 Yamaha debuted an experimental version of Vocaloid called VOCALOID:AI on a TV special in Japan. VOCALOID:AI used deep learning and isolated vocals from famous enka singer Hibari Misora to perform a brand-new song, 30 years after her death. The synthesized singing and speech were accompanied by a CGI projection before a live audience.

For comparison, here's the real Hibari singing "Kawa No Nagare No You Ni" ("Like The Flow Of A River"). She passed away mere months after its release in 1989. It's the song she's most remembered for.

Refuse to support emvoice because they lured in a bunch of patrons with their 'free' beta version - then without warning, suddenly cut them all off . . .while many of those 'free' beta users were invested or in the middle of substantial projects (shallow marketing plot); offer program for FREE then when a bunch of users are halfway thru their projects cut them all off & demand a high fee to finish those projects. So now all Emvoice has to say is "oOops, sorry" - they are not sorry , this was a premeditated plot & they otta be made liable for this. Do not offer it for free & then cut people off of that free beta version, demanding a sort of ransom to finish our already invested projects by reducing the FREE BETA VERSION to a somewhat useless 7 notes !!

Post

That's a very bold accusation.

On 3rd November Emvoice posted on their
Facebook group that the free beta was ending and users should render any vocals they have already made or they will loose them....

On 29th October I received an e-mail titled: "Time to Bounce your Vocals – the Emvoice One Beta is Nearly Over". And an explanation inside the e-mail.

So what Cheif Manitou is stating is wrong.
