Oh please not another sevice center/licenser manager/product assistant. There's already enough of this bloatware needed for simple plugins. Can the products still be managed the old way? By downloading and importing the master keyfile?

Seems legit - :hihi: I like the ReFX and Vengeance logo together

But what does Manuel Schiess think? :hihi:
Refx and Xfer on the same plugin, cool

I have downloaded and it works without any problems, though somehow all my expansions seem outdated so updating all now. Maybe for N3 compatibility.

Cloud much simpler. Nice! No more key file stuff every time I get an expansion.

I take this as a good sign - they'd all need to be updated if they have tags in N3.

In the meantime I just updated, and there's a change to behaviour in the Nexus 2 browser. The factory presets are now all in a Factory Presets folder, and the old category folders have gone. Not a disaster, just highlighting it before it upsets someone. Part of the problem is that those category folders always were kinda useless if you have expansions, as they only applied to the factory content, so you always ended up searching using the two digit codes. Hopefully all this will be a lot more graceful in N3.

Very fast download speed for me btw, good work on this installer thing which was painless. Also as dblock says above now seemingly no need to download the keyfile or manually install each XP (then remembering to delete the download after install), so its a positive first impression.

In the meantime, at the nursing home: https://handi-house.com/product/nexus-3/
If the days till November 29 don't go by any faster, I'll need one of those!

How come they got theirs before the 29th? What's up with that? Well, at least there's no dongle hanging off it anyway.

No dongle, but it comes with a pre-installed curb climber! Nice!

Just updated to cloud based Nexus 2 , what does this mean for our license on the usb elicenser? Will I still be able to bring my usb dongle, with a laptop and gig with it, or is the nexus 2 license on it void? Do I need to just trash it?

Apparently most of my expansions needed to be updated.. :scared:

Oh, in my case it isn't about how easy it is  I only have enough bloatware needed on my system like NI Access, waves central, HOFA plugin manager and whatnotelse and definitely not going to install more, especially not for a single plugin. That's why I asked about it being mandatory.

99.9% sure Nexus 2 stays exactly as it is, as does the licence.

As I posted earlier, if you update everything works just the same, with the one exception (that I've noticed anyway) that the old categories in the file browser for the factory library have gone. All now folded into a single "Factory Library" folder, which makes sense to me as you have to use the two digit search to look for stuff in the expansions anyway.
