In my eternal quest for songwriting tools, I came upon Harvest Mini by Harvest Plugins. I was immediately impressed by its potential and picked up the full version at a very reasonable price. I couldn't find a thread on this so I started one.

Harvest is a MIDI sequence generator. It's a VST Plugin that can produce melodies, chords, and drum patterns. Generate unique loops, subtly tweak melodies or create MIDI chaos.

I like this very much. Use it a lot. If you want multiple instances in the same project, copy and paste the dll in your VST folder and rename. I have harvest1, Harvest2 and Harvest3 and that works a treat for me in Reaper. Might not be needed in other hosts, but was needed in Reaper
And the devs are very easy to communicate with

They're having a 50% off sale this week (actually more than that LOL). That's crazy cheap considering what this plugin does. What's one great song worth? It's got to be worth at least $24.
$49 $24 (50% savings)

Congrats and best of luck. I hope it inspires you as much as me. This is one of those plugins that will easily earn its keep. I'm still not sure if it's my "go to" or sometimes "go to," but I'm excited to explore more and find out. In my case, anything that gets me closer to the finish line, i.e. song completed, is worth it a try . . . especially when it cost less than dinner out.

^^^
I am hoping for a price well below $59.
But
I may cave in and buy at $59.

Also, keep an eye on Kameleono from Midi Mood. I eventually picked up my copy on sale for $29.Kalamata Kid wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:13 pm ^^^

Put aside the mini months ago, but decided to buy the full at this price.
Anybody else seeing this sort of thing...
EDIT:
Exchanging emails with them. My opinion thus far - app does not handle runtime parameter adjusting well.
(Track below was created (midi imported) w/pattern length knob at 1 - can't become greater...)
