When I drag the fade in corner across on an audio clip, it will not draw the fade in line, in fact it does pretty much nothing.
Fade out isn't a problem, it draws the line and reduces the volume, but I cannot do this for fade in ?
HAve I got a rogue setting stopping this ?

strange it works here. windows 10 pro, cubase 10.5 pro. some setting? as you mentioned, with me it always works. perhaps the manual can help. i do not know the answer from heart.

It's really wierd, it used to work , but now it just draws a line across the clip and moves, no line of fade at all, but I can still use the range tool and fade editor, but that's a long route for something that was simple, like dragging a marker to make a linear fade.
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive
