I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the FLStudio registration system. I know there has been discussion on this before though so I am not trying to start another one.
But if I had a dollar for every time I went to download something from Samplefusion or view the FLStudio forum and couldn't get access I would buy the whole Imageline product line.
I am just having a winge really but if you have a great solution let me know.

No my DAW is online. The problem I have is that every so often I head over to the FLStudio site to browse the forum (maybe once every month or two) and I don't have permission to view. So I re input my registration and run the regkey it sends. I go back to the web site and if I am lucky I am in. Same thing with Samplefusion. For example, right now I tried to dl a few samples from there to try in Wusikstation but no access to the zipped files. It says To download you need to log in to your 'my FL Studio'. I do this (again) and run the registration but can't get the file still. It just sends me to a page telling me To download you need to log in to your 'my FL Studio'. And over and over again. A simple serial number with a login website and forum would do me just fine. It seems like there is a secret sequence of events to get access and I will stumble on it again sometime. Yill the I will just sit here downloading regkeys and moving cookies around etc.

The problem is not the regkey - that's not what lets you into the site.
The problem is you either have cookies turned off or are periodically deleting them. The same time it offers you a regkey to download, it also wants to set a cookie for you. In fact, you can cancel the download if you wish.

I have it working now after trying for half an hour or so. I don't understand cookies but I did have one I saved in case this situation happened. I put it in my cookies folder and got a new reg key and ran it but still no go. I deleted it and got another reg key and the site set another cookie so all is good now. Seems like no cookie is better than an old one?
If that is correct then thanks heaps.
I am periodically deleting them. I didn't realise that it was setting a cookie though. So what you are saying is that I don't have to download the reg file at all. When it pops up I can just cancel and the cookie should be set.dougsyo wrote:The problem is not the regkey - that's not what lets you into the site.
