The problem is that you're sending files in ASCII mode. I'm not really sure why it defaults to that. Anyway, to fix the problem, just type "bin" before you do the file transfer. Since binary mode works for ASCII text files as well as binaries such as jpg and doc (that's right, the Word doc file format isn't ASCII), you might as well just use binary mode all the time.haneramper wrote:There it goes..

I've allways used the command line ftp in windows, but it seems to mess up the files I send. My .doc files get screwed, and my .jpgs look like the one I posted.. It worked ok with CuteFTP though. Wonder why......
