Completely new, flat, scaleable, vector-based UI
Faster, bigger, better in every way

If you are using better than X386 .

at least its supersmooth 60hz, always sharp. And you will later be able to assign your own colors / shadows etc and create your own themes. Michael is a big fan of flat UIs. And the one thing is right: if you work some time with it, the old one looks clunky and strangely outdated.
Seeing a stiff pic is one thing, using it and seeing it in motion another. Btw. In the Nexus FB group its around 50/50 of those who love it, and those who dont (yet). I guess 50% is the best you can achieve on a complete redesign of something which had been around for over 10 years :hihi:
However who dont like it so much that he cant use it without getting blind, can still stick to his Nexus2, which is still cool. No one will take it from him.

Sounds good, to me! Resizability is a must these days, IMO. Aren't these type of flat vector UIs (similar look) becoming the norm these days? And the customization features are appealing. But I'm more concerned with the changes in sound manipulation functions - which along with the clunky browser, has always been one of Nexus' shortcomings. Thanks for the info!

at least this forum is entertaining...
People are upgrading to the new Iphone every year (and they decide this before its release), so...I don't know about amazing, rather it's pretty usual.

Edit: I realize I might have interpreted your post incorrectly though :)

An additional "classic UI mode" wouldn't do any harm.
The problem is that newer expansions won't work with Nexus2 anymore.

I really like the new design. It's calm, clear and concise. You can work long and effectively with it. HDPI was all I wanted.
I would still be happy if there will be skin alternatives. Just being able to change colors could be boring (cp. TAL-Audio GUIs). I hope that there will be more options. Especially Michael as an old computer game freak, had always hit the nerve of the users with the stylistic skins of Nexus2.

I get a bit Apple Alchemy vibes when looking at the new GUI:

Are these parody posts? I can't tell.

That image with Nexus at the top and Alchemy underneath, I can't really see them being similar at all, but clearly they must be as it does seem to have confused everyone.
