Agreed, and Parawave Rapid is only 99 right now, this makes it a tough sale! I'd be happy to see a better price as well.

the window was semi-open and listening to the rain...... "wow, that's lovely....
finished the track now!
might end up in an album someday,
Some people who say it's all the same but i can hear some relevant diferences between soundcloud and bandcamp versions even if both stream MP3's...

Ok I see, MSoundFactory and all melda plugins and also all the HY-plugins support it too, I tried.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:33 pmNo, unfortunately it does not. This is quite rare in plugins sill though. The only ones I can think of are Sylenth1 and the Arturia plugins. But I agree this is a nice thing to have. I'm not sure what the GUI toolkit is that is used for multi-touch capability but it also tends to have the advantage that there is no delay in the response when touching a parameter. Most plugins have a tiny delay (still usable) when you go to adjust a knob for example. But Sylenth1 and Arturia repsonse immediately, which is great for small adjustments.JunSev wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2019 4:19 am Does Icarus 2 support multitouch for multitouch screen monitors and laptops?
In the previous Icarus 1.6 it was not possible and this would be a nice realtime experience to play it live, instead to receive the message for one knob at times as it is/was now.
Also it seems that you're on beta knowing all that, you're pretty lucky

Good to know! I should try MSound Factory. EDIT: Yep works great multi-touch, but man that's expensive.JunSev wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:36 pmOk I see, MSoundFactory and all melda plugins and also all the HY-plugins support it too, I tried.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:33 pmNo, unfortunately it does not. Soundcloud converts to 128kbps, no matter what you upload. That's how it get's it's "signature" hihat sound
Everything above 15k gets destroyed from what I can figure. Cool track! Needs more Icarus though
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Helly everyone
I'm wondering if it is dance music you want to do with icarus 2?
Or is it maybe something else you want to do with it? Something you wanted to do wiht other instruments but can not. Only with icarus? What would that be ? What is it you want to do with icarus 2 ?
I'm also wondering what age the average user of Tone2 is? I think maybe it is mostly young guys? But maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps somebody can tell me? It is a friendly questio. I do't mea to offend or upset anyone. I'm oly wondering. If somebody find this question as an attack. Please explain to me why you feel this way? So maybe I can ask this question in a different way so nobody will feel bad..OK ?

Nena was suspended because of reposting things. I deleted and ignoring my attempts to get the thread on track.JunSev wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 6:54 pm This is crazy, how this user being suspended continues trying to troll here yet again?
People don't feed the troll, report it.
Nena's suspension is over and now Nena has reworde the question in a non abusive way. I wont revisit Nena's past errs, suspension is over and thats that.
Please do not derail this thread further...that goes for everyone
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

In case this is a serious question: Icarus has one of the best and most flexible resynthesis engines I have had the pleasure of using so far. It has more resynthesis options and also more wavetable editing options than most other synths and all of it is extremely user-friendly, allowing for a fast workflow I can't get close to with other synths. Combined with all the wavetable morph, filter and modulation options, I can do just about anything with any sample I throw at it. So, for me, the question would be: what would I NOT want to do with IcarusNena2 wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 6:45 pm Something you wanted to do wiht other instruments but can not. Only with icarus? Do you mind telling us how old you are? Just asking to know what age range you might think of when you are talking about "mostly young guys" - not alluding to anything, of course. ^^I'm also wondering what age the average user of Tone2 is? I think maybe it is mostly young guys?

Yeah the resynthesis, especially with MPE is pretty rare. But also an enormous amount of different filters that actual sound different.metaside wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 10:45 pmIn case this is a serious question: Icarus has one of the best and most flexible resynthesis engines I have had the pleasure of using so far. Sounds like a 20 year old who for some reason believes that maybe a lot of 19 year olds are using it. The rest of don't care and just use it.Do you mind telling us how old you are?
