not having a go in anyway here but i thought he was an ok bloke.met him years back in liverpool,and everyones pestering him for autographs n stuff and he just got on with it.no entourage or bouncers or nothing.just enjoyed chatting to people then bought everyone a drink and started just dancing around with us.he ended up sharing a taxi back with us as he was staying near our place.none of that hey im a popstar shit that some people of his era are fuelled with.
but like you say even if he was a twat,no one deserves shit like this,getwell soon
