To write automation inside Live you normally select the parameter in the VST then select it in the automaion lane.
However how can I do it if said parameter doesn't appear in the automation lane, specifically "LFO Routing Vol" in LFO Tool?

if you record some automation rather than draw it in, does it show up as editable?
otherwise do you have its cc number and can do it that way?

click Configure on the LFOTool plugin container in the lower-left of Live, and then touch the parameter you wish to automate on the LFOTool interface.

To get the CC number you need to select the value and it appears in the Configure section but this isn't being recognised either

Sadly though the LFO routing section doesn't respond to Configure. Other parameters such as rate do though.
Essentially I'm looking to scroll through the first 4 patterns over a 4 bar loop.

It doesnt respond when pressing +/- byt works perfectly when scrolling through the numbers

In fact I learned it can be controlled by MIDI notes also thereby allowing much more control. Winner winner, chicken dinner
