Is there something with the slicer?
I have a bunch of presets made in pre v2 set to either 8, 16 etc synced slices that now loads with slice markers in a complete mess.

Looks like it's due to a renamed folder and Falcon missing sample dialog.

Try reproduce:
1. Create a program with slicer and create synced loop (add markers with grid setting) and save.
2. Rename the folder containing the sample.
3. Load the saved program and follow the find sample dialog.
4. Slice markers are now messed up aswell as the envelope settings AHDS.

Edit: Also, looks like it's a v2 bug rather than pre v2.

Okay. It was a MIDI CC learned. But I never set that up. Is there a kind of auto-learn to MIDI CC function in the background active when the user creates new macros or links parameters to macros?

Yeah, the first parameters you assign are sequentially assigned a cc starting at a certain number.

It would be nice to have an option in the settings for toggling this auto assigning either on/off.

What effect does the “preinsert” checkbox in an effect rack’s chain inspector panel have on the routing of the signal?

Nothing. We use AuxEffect internally to do the effect rack but this feature is only used on regular aux.
It should not be displayed in case of Rack chain.
Will fix this.

it will cure the issue if you haven't save the session/preset in the meantime
