OK, I officially *hate* CodeMeter.sircuit wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:34 pm How does Codemeter deals with local (non-dongle) activations in case of hard drive failure (or clean system reinstall)?
For example iLok activations are simply lost and the user must contact all the developers, explain the situation and then sometimes the license gets replaced, other times get lost forever.
Rene could reset the license count in the past with old licensing scheme - will this still be the case with the new protection?
I'm still on Avenger 1.4.10, so I don't think it is Avenger that's causing my recent issues. I've spent the last 3-4 evenings trying to identify what it is that CodeMeter is unhappy with (No CodeMeter License available. No CmContainer found. Nothing app-related showing anywhere.), which is giving absolutely no information about what plugin or app is giving it grief (on restarts, with unhappy icon sitting in system tray). That's totally unacceptable. I've tried tracking it's installation date, etc, but everything installed around that time is working properly. I'm verging on just totally uninstalling it and seeing what breaks. I've never had anything like this ever happen with iLok.
I'm hoping this isn't the kind of experience we have to live with down the line with 1.5.

To be fair, complex DAW (that often have included instruments) are updated far more often than Avenger. Don't be a Vengeance Sound apologist - they work slow as hell. The Sarge! wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 8:25 pmit´s done when it´s done! accept this please
if he/Rene or any other programmer just doing everything in a hurry, then the people are crying "hey, there are (little) bugs! why not finished and then released it??" [f.e. look MassiveX from NI]
so please calm down, spend some money on other Black-Deals and enjoy soon Avenger 1.5 with necessary invested coding-time![]()

am i missing something? i am subscribed to the 'newsletter' but i don't get any emails for the product releases or info. i don't play the social media game and it sucks trying to track down what is going on with the product. the only way i have found out about updates since purchasing is going to the registration page and looking to see if there was an update
is the missing ARPs just for beta users or do i need to install the factory content again even though i am not using the beta version? one shouldn't have to read through 700 pages on an 'off' forum lol please inform... cheers

ok for you guys some days earlier before release (Thursday or Friday!)
Lets get serious: Techno 1 is here and its particularly one thing: Dark. So many Techno, Tech House, Minimal producers waited for this and now its here. Manuel Schleis and Andy Hinz teamed up for this big one, offering as much variety as possible. The 40 (!) new drumkits alone would justify this XP, they are so well laid out, complex and perfectly mixed, that they will form the backbone of all your productions. But of course you will love the 128 Avenger presets, too - offering so much inspiring basslines, f#*ked up sequences, pads, plucks, leads and FX for the years to come!
Attention: VPS Avenger version 1.5.0 minimum required!
this expansion adds to your library:

@msvs
thanks for the nice walkthrough
one big question: what CPU are you using on the PC in the videos? the reason for asking: there a many presets running with >30% and some more with up to 47%
it´s an important info for me, because don´t know if my at-the-moment-PC will handle the Techno 1 XP
if it doesn´t it hve to stay nearly a year in your shop
until new PC
if it´s a secret then pls PM with promised discretion
