My personal feeling that if you invest $49 on a drum tool. Go for Altas rather than Playbeat. Though no one knows what will be offered in the next version but XO has given them a bit of pressure to make the new features (including sequencer) more outstanding. But this is only my guess.
Don't know if XO resume their 50% discount though. I missed their sales which finished few days ago.

Does Atlas already have an option to mirror the layout? I don't know whose bright idea it was to reverse the audio spectrum by placing hihats on the left and kicks on the right, but it makes absolutely no sense.
