The 'Trance Gate' programmer is broken on the latest version, located at the 'Effects' panel. You can create segments but you can't deselect them... Nice synth and was consider buying it, but majorly broken synths are something I typically shy away from.
Edit that... it's not strictly broken, you need to use the right mouse button to deselect them...Sorry but this is really unnecessary and awkward in practice. There's no need for doing it this way, it should be simply left mouse click to select and deselect, just as it is in pretty much every other VST synth out there. Can this be changed, and also for the Arp Programmer ?

purchased this after seeing the demos from sami rabia (aiyn zahev) and after trying out the demo. the synth sounds great, but more importantly, the GUI is very intuitive (at least for me). thank you to the developers.
small question: how can I modify the theme. i opened the theme zip up, changed the color of the logo in the flat ruby theme to be less bright, but after zipping it again (with no compression), it does not find the theme.

To your "theme" question. Did you edit the graphic in each folder (100%, 200%, 300%)? Remember, if you just edit the graphic in the 100% and you're using a size bigger than 100%, than Rapid will use the graphics from the 200% folder.
Did you also edit the meta.xml? You have to set a specific name in the "name" tags.
Code: Select all
<name>my awesome theme</name>

OK! To describe the awesomeness of Rapid, I've just recorded some chords. To make clear that it can sound modern but analog as well, I start from scratch with two saw waves and add a sub saw which is added later with the modwheel (-12). The sequence is constantly fattened up by unison, Rapid's new Reverb algorithm and a LFO with Random Glide for some randomness in balance. We have many voices, with ensemble FX and a huge reverb, but a low CPU usage! I could start some 3D renderings by the way while making music.
Enjoy!

This synth speaks for itself! I made a new demo track to demonstrate some cool sounds (drums included) from Rapid's huge factory library. Get ready for this and make a lot of music in this cold season!

Ok thanks, would have have been nice to change the lengths manually as the shuffle amount does

Depending on your need, you can manage a workaround using certain of the sequencer shapes but I do agree this would be a handy addition.focusrite wrote: Wed Nov 27, 2019 8:35 pmOk thanks, would have have been nice to change the lengths manually as the shuffle amount does
