thx for the notificationmsvs wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 1:49 pm at the moment there are just too many users and customers. Its insane. So please be a bit patient with downloading
we are already setting up a 2nd downloadserver, should be all better in 3-5 hours.
@msvs Manuel, can you say something about this? No hurry, I understand you're probably quite busy getting things working, just asking.paterpeter wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 9:08 amsircuit wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:34 pm How does Codemeter deals with local (non-dongle) activations in case of hard drive failure (or clean system reinstall)?
For example iLok activations are simply lost and the user must contact all the developers, explain the situation and then sometimes the license gets replaced, other times get lost forever.
Rene could reset the license count in the past with old licensing scheme - will this still be the case with the new protection?phreaque wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2019 5:41 pm General info. This "can" be done with codemeter website, you can terminate the license on damaged / lost device. But I think there's a fee?
I'm not sure if I missed something, but has this been clarified yet? I'd rather use the dongle, but I can't find it anywhere to buy, so it'll probably be software authentication for me. I'd hate to lose the license in case of a lost disk.
It's not like my life depends on the 1.5 update.msvs wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 1:49 pm at the moment there are just too many users and customers. Its insane. So please be a bit patient with downloading

I did. And I have not gotten a response. Other products that use Codemeter have an option to drop the previous license completely and regain the empty license.carlosigls wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:36 pm Same question What happens if I have a PC failure and I have to reinstall OS? That's not a problem.carlosigls wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:36 pm Same question What happens if I have a PC failure and I have to reinstall OS? Do I lose the license?

These guitarloops sounding so awfull artifactial.![]()
I stay with 1.4.10. and i'm sure there will not be anything innovative in future updates for Avenger synth. The 1.4.10 is my personal Avenger Endgame!![]()
For me personally I’m much more interested in the analogue filters in 1.5.ReboundAudio wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:52 pm I wonder why you guys are so hot about this update?

Silly question, but how does one remove a license? There's no such option in the Avenger account or the license manager page. Only "Activate Licenses", "Re-Host Licenses" and "Auto-Update" show at the end of the list of licenses. The option to "Remove License" in the CodeMeter tool is grayed out.msvs wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:13 pm If you already had activated VPS Avenger 1.5 on your computer:
Because of an error in the license, the factory library could not be read by VPS Avenger.
Open your avenger account again and remove the licenses from your computer .
Activate the new Avenger license from the end of your license list.
The old licenses might be returned automatically.
After that, Avenger should read the factory library correct.
