Does not work that way. When I click on Rehost it tells me I have to be on the computer where the license exists. Because I had to do a Windows Recovery, that license is deleted. Now I cannot Rehost. It continues to tell me to connect to the computer with the license or point directly to the file. Does not exist.

Just asking, if this would indeed be possible, wouldn't that mean infinite license generation? I mean how does codemeter know if it really was a OS crash or just someone keeping his machine offline? Isn't the whole point of codemeter to ensure there's a single container with your license anywhere at any time similar to having a license on a dongle? That would be a way to bypass this limitation.

I think I figured it out (without using "Re-Host"): The list of licenses has basically 4 Avenger licenses ( and 4 for each expansion). 1 is activated, the other 3 are available. So I just hit "Activate Licenses" again, then CodeMeter did it's updating. Reloading the license page now only shows 3 licenses for each product, of which one is activated and two still available. The original activated license has gone from the page.

Now the Factory library finally loads and shows all presets. Still having issues with Melodic EDM not showing it's content. Will download it a 3rd time and see if that solves the problem.

But man, this CodeMeter thing is probably the most user-hostile piece of software I've seen in a while. Seems to work, but looks way to intrusive and over-complicated for just checking a product license. The eLicenser and iLok managers look like the best apps of the year in comparison...

I stay with 1.4.10. and i'm sure there will not be anything innovative in future updates for Avenger synth. The 1.4.10 is my personal Avenger Endgame!

No. Propellerheads Reason allows you to delete the container. I imagine Codemeter updates by checking online from time to time. Either way the license is lost now. This REALLY sucks. You are screwed if you have to reset your computer. Here is the error when I try to "rehost":

Every other license system has some form of recovery. It is just not available here. Maybe someone from Vengeance can help.

Server is just overloaded right now... they're working on adding more resources. It should clear up within a few hours.

at the moment there are just too many users and customers. Its insane. So please be a bit patient with downloading

ILok soft license is the same way... Gotta clear your license off the computer before resetting it

That is the problem that you have to deactivate before, but if for some circumstances your computer breaks down and you could not deactivate the license, you lose the license. That is what I understand.
