You may want to see what the new factory content has to offer, 2 XP's worth of sounds included.Shizzhead wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 7:32 pm yeah ive listened through a bunch of them and its kinda hard to tell when they're all layered like that, but to me it sounds like they could be used in most electronic-based genres, like they're not too genre-specific, or just not enough to be barred from pop music specifically.
I mean the 80's one sounded really 80's and the dubstep was dubstep but a few elements in every pack sound pretty "allround-fitting" if thats a word

I think the best was fxpansion, releasing Cypher 2, and then the dev takes a 4 week holiday.DrGonzo wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 7:38 pm Releasing a major update on a Friday makes absolutely no sense to me. reFX is not the only doing this, but one would think that early in the week would be better for support questions.

Who knows if refx don't work at the weekend for this. I would really assume that they do, with potential support requests for the purchase surely upcoming.

As the Advent calendar would normally start at this time, I guess that there will be at least a 20 % discount on expansions from today on... + quantity discounts.

Haha, in that case I'd look at getting any of the edms, commercial electros, hiphops, millenium pops, pop, and guitars. You could easily use the sounds from something like a dubstep pack in a taylor swift track, they're way more flexible than they get credit for once you edit arps, layers etc.Shizzhead wrote: Fri Nov 29, 2019 8:15 pm Everything from Swift to Guetta to Drake to Country Pop, you know, the shit people usually hate
