Why cant he call himself that? Maybe he sold/streamed more records using that preset then you will in your entire lifespan.
Who knows, Who knows. ;)

But for real. They are talking about codemeters for months now and you realize today that you need to update all the content? And most of all, if I know that I have a record meeting, I would never update content before.

hi i don' call me premium i called me a platinum producer and songwriter cause it s what i am. i have 1 platinum 6 golds and 2 silver certified records in europe and the only thing i was trying to say is that when you have a session with a singer who travel 300 km to come at your place and you can t play correctly the backing track you made cause some sounds are missing... it s not fair... the minimum was to inform that with the update you would have to redownload everything... and last thing of course i use a lot of synth with factory presets, i spend my time in production and songwriting not on sound design...

If you know that, you should also know to not update stuff before an important meeting. ? :)
And above that i don't care what people reached with platinum or gold or silver status when they do misstakes like beginners. I'm sorry.

BY THE WAY. It is possible to have BOTH Avenger ... 1.4.10 AND 1.5. Just rename your old version and have fun.

I didn't see anything about codemeters and I didn't follow any discussion about it here at KVR. I found out after I bought a preset pack in this BF sale. I then saw that I have to upgrade to v1.5. I didn't get any email about codemeters or any info from anywhere.

Some times I feel some developers are too generous with emails trying to promote their stuff or give info, but in case of Vengeance it's the total opposite. It is a rather big change IMHO so they should have bothered to send an email. Yes, I always check my spam folders as well and nothing.

I agree 100% with you. I didn't got any email or something. I have to search for myself for infos about updates and stuff. There's a Facebook Group where i got banned because i wrote few month ago, that i'll sell my licence when they are'nt able to fix some majorbugs. And got a personal message from Mr. Schleis, that i hopefully sell my licence asap and i shall stop bothering them and he'll block me and kick me out of the group.

So talking about Customer Friendly and Vengeance in one sentence is very funny. :D So that is, what you get from Vengeance. The EAT or FK Off option. :)

Manuel - please do fix the import content dialogue, which is non-functioning in 1.5.0. Drag and drop works, but in multi-monitor setups Cubase doesn't really cope with this. The problem is that when you highlight anything in Explorer, the plugin vanishes in Cubase, you have to drag it to the taskbar and wait til the plugins appear again. 19 times out of 20 this doesn't work, very occasionally it does. It took me literally half an hour to drag three expansions successfully, and the third one I had to do in Pro Tools.

BUt in new expansion describtion it clearly says, it requires minimum 1.5 version. So its your own fault. Your own ignorance does not cancel you from responsable behaviour.

And if you paid any attention to that, means you tried to download version 1.5 and there it also clearly says IMPORTANT.

So where is Vengeance fault there about not communicating i dont know. Its clear that its your own fault for not paying attention to what is written and now try to blame that vengeance didnt cleaned your bottom.

General first impressions - install went fine (except for drag-and-drop expansions as listed in the post above). There doesn't seem to be a way to audition new presets.

The guitar stuff is clever, but there's a fundamental problem that limits its usefulness hugely - it can only do major or minor chords currently. To not cover at least some suses and 7ths means its only got very limited use for most genres. TBH I wasn't holding out much hope here though, so not overly bothered.

The new vintage filters are nice, good to have an alternative to the analogue ones.

Alright, I followed Manuel's instructions about using the "Re-Host License" option then deactivating. On the Vengeance CodeMeter site it looks good, i.e. the license has been put back on the cloud. But in the CodeMeter app, I still have the "Vengeance Sound" CmContainer and it still says "License activated". What gives? Is there a delay due to overloaded servers or...?

I never expected anything more or less from Vengeance than from any other developer. I know very well how to clean my butt thank you very much! It was when I purchased the expansion that I saw I needed 1.5 version but I upgraded many times before without any hustle at all. I didn't expect anything to be different this time and that's the whole point.

I never heard about Codemeter before and I purchased the expansion before I upgraded. That you can say is my fault then but based on previous experience upgrading Avenger I didn't think anything of it.
All comes down to in what chronological order things are done. Perhaps you didn't think about that before you started to use big words. Try to get your head out of you butt and think before you comment

You did not expected it to be different this time, thats why it was clearly written for people like you, and i just posted you the printscreens. I just gave you the proof that Vengeance did handled the communication right and you still say its not your fault :dog:

@noiseboyuk: right-click the Cubase header just above Avenger (the one with the A/B functions) and disable "always on top". then it will stay on top, when you switch to the explorer. Sounds strange I know...
