During working on a tune with ethnic flavour I heard/felt that something unpleasant was going on in the lows sometimes.
I soloed a track with "Tanpura Drone" patch from EastWest Silk library, and discovered that samples (it turned out there are three round robins there) have quite audible background noise! You can clearly hear sounds of cars and also some hits (steps?). Quite hilarious, isn't it? Maybe EastWest should conduct recording sessions in more quiet locations.

Yup, definitely audible. It's about a decade old so I doubt they'd re-record it since it's in countless projects. But maybe they can repair the samples we don't have access to.
