I have read that N3 is very CPU hungry. More than Avenger. Can you confirm that? Or was it just a user who tried to load N3 on his C64?

I did a test on 16 SQ instances before and after updating. Conclusion - no difference in CPU use whatsoever. However, load time of the plugin itself is definitely longer.

BTW, I'm getting occasional scrambled UI (the central area is empty, pretty much) on first opening. Closing it completely and then reopening fixes it. Anyone else seen this?

Uninstalling and re-installing the expansion does not fix it.
If you've also tried the verify thing in reFX Cloud, perhaps contact support. Everything playing normally here.

Presets load faster but are slower to select, I have to constantly click the top of the plugin before I can then click the next preset in order for it to play, any way around this?

steve.lindqvist wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2019 7:29 pm Just that you know, the new ROM Extension 2 as well as these new expansions exclusively for Nexus3 also create an NKS folder within the Content folder. So the Komplete Control S keyboard on Michael's desk and on the start page of refx.com really seems to tell us that there will be NKS support!
Yes, the manual mentions upcoming NKS support.

The audio previews aren't across the board yet, most expansions and the original factory content don't have them it seems, just like the tagging.

Using the arrow keys to preview and enter to load works really well imo, but it would be nice to have a preference to just load the patch right away. I guess the previews are the reason why the behaviour changed (left / right doesn't change columns btw), it should in theory be super-quick to audition this way, but on an SSD its no slouch to load the patches themselves.
If you load N3 in Komplete Kontrol App, the new Rom Expansion lights up your Keyboard accordingly. Loving that!
I can’t get komplete to load nexus, it doesn’t show up at all in komplete - on logic

Manuel (or anyone else affiliated with ReFX), are you able to offer any assurances that Nexus 3 won’t be following in the footsteps of Avenger 1.5 and moving to Codemaster copy protection at some point? Or can you at least offer assurances that there are no current plans or potential plans (as in, “let’s see how it works for Avenger before we bite the bullet”) to do so?

Glad I didn't buy this right away. Hopefully they iron out all these bugs quickly.

I can assure that currently they are absolutely no plans. However, I am no fortune teller.

Thank you! I know the future will bring what it will, but it’s very helpful to know it’s not in the current thinking at least.

Anyone else running into issues when attempting to tag instruments? I have a group of Presets I'm saving one by one, with new tags, and once I change the Type / The name loses characters.

Tagging needs serious work, besides we should be able to highlight more then one preset at a time, and just assign a tag, in the 3rd row..(Results) and save from there somehow..

well I can understand this. Its impossible to get all possible problems on all possible computer configurations in advance. You can take as much years of development as you want - in the end there will be some bugs on some computers no matter what.
SideNote: my PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 still crashes and freezes randomly. Many users (according to forums) have this problem. There is not a single update since release. I guess they didnt test it properly with their team of 100+ programmers?

As long as refx is aggressively fixing bugs, we're gonna be fine. Nexus is popular and makes them money, they'd be foolish not to make it as good as it can be. Which I believe they eventually will. Even propellerheads reason eventually got vst support.
Which in their case they probably should have listened to their customers sooner.
They'd probably have alot more 😉
