If so ppl should learn to say sorry and thx for support.
No, Manuel's original message was very specific, to do with official XPs. That wasn't the case here, nothing to apologise for.

More out of curiosity than anything, but do any current guitar expansions or patches have anything other than major / minor chords? If not, is this planned for the future?

I'm a big supporter of Avenger, but I don't get the guitar excitement when the options seem so very limited.

MSVS, are there plans to make 1.5.x update so that Avenger visualizations would be 60fbs?

@Noiseboy

min/maj/5ths do the purpose in 99% of all cases (modern music). Its very easy to play a 7th with a synth chord on top, and you still have the 7th feeling on the guitar
The effort of recording it in every exotic chord would have skyrocked 20x more than it actually was. And these are atm up to 24samples per kit (real recordings, which is NOT easy to play exactly the same way on each key/chord), we have over 200 kits and another 50 in the making, this are thousands of audio files. I cant calculate how many hours of work went into this

By the way, one thing that's gone under the radar is the expandable mod matrix in this update. This is AWESOME! I find myself using it constantly. Thanks Vengeance!

yes this was a user request, and we liked the idea

Question: Is there a way to have Avenger transpose the chords an octave higher or lower than recorded? Right now they only play in the octave they were recorded in.

Where can we add user requests msvs?

In this thread is probably as good as anywhere else since Manuel is here regularly. I was one of, if not the first to suggest the expandable matrix and I did it in this thread

Side note, I haven’t installed the update yet because I have tons of projects that rely heavily on avenger and I’m just holding out to see how everyone makes out.

Sorry if this has already been addressed (long thread and all), but can anyone comment on whether the cm process affects performance at all? Stability, Load times, UI open/close, etc.? Or how often it needs to perform online checks when you’re using soft codemeter?

I’m excited to try the update, just wondering whether to wait through one or two minor update cycles before jumping in

I respectfully disagree. Even for pop, Sus 4s and 2s and then for disco / funk 7ths are genre-defining. You can't really emulate the missing notes with synths (and in the case of the sus chords they're not missing, they are in place of).

But you know, that's why the guitars thing seems like a distraction to me for Avenger. Guitars are too big and complicated a thing to do partially imo. I wish you well with what is here, I realise it must have been a lot of work and the tech here IS clever, but I hope it's just a temporary distraction in the Avenger roadmap. IMO Avenger is a synth that excels at being a synth.
