Manipulator or Pitchmonster? (NO Vocals!)

hey guys, im torn, im demoing pitchmonster and pretty much like it, it sounds nice, i can pitch sounds asap without having to use a granular synth, i can use my sampler and without altering the speed pitch it down etc.
but with manipulator i would have to have more controls like LFOs etc. so i wonder how the quality of the pitch shifting in manipulator is compared to pitchmonster? sadly i cannot demo Manipulator....

i would use these plugins for sound design and not for vocals atm. also i dont want to buy 2 plugins....

wow thx a lot i had in mind they have no demos.

just trying out alone the pitch shift it cannot do the shifting like pitchmonster at all somehow.

I'm not familiar with Pitchmonster, but you do need to route MIDI into the plugin in order to create vocal harmonies with Manipulator.

I can't speak for Pitchmonster, but Manipulator is not clean. It's really not that kind of plug. It's more of an FSU mangler than a pitch shifter. I adore it, but don't go in expecting high quality pitch alteration. It's a special effects machine through and through.
