I’m a huge fan of old fuzzy riffs played through an octave pedal. I have Guitar rig and a bunch of pitch shifters in my plugin folder. I find that when played further up the fretboard the guitar rig octave pedal works pretty well, but still gets a big confused by muted notes. Other pitch shifters I’ve used have yielded pretty cool sounds but because they are shifting the whole signal and don’t include the filtering that is included in most octave pedals, they don’t really work for the sound I’d like.
I’m wondering if anybody here has a recommendation of something that works as well as any of the old stompbox/ multieffect boards do. I have a Korg multi effect pedalboard that sounds great, but I would prefer to have something in the box so that I could make changes later on.
Thanks,
JJ

Check out OC-D2 as well....also FREE!!
OC-D2 is an octaver plug-in that generates a signal one and/or two octaves below the original. It's based on the popular Boss OC-2 pedal, but with many more features and customizability far beyond what other octavers offer.

Bummer that it’s 32-bit only.
