Fill with Replace?

Hi,

As we currently use the F key to fill an empty track full with a Phrase, is there a keystroke that will do the same thing but which will empty the current info from the track first before performing the new fill?

I'm finding that layering a new fill on top of what's already there is not what I generally want to have happen, but having to manually empty the track first is not "Rapid"

My workflow goal here is rapid auditioning of different patterns in a track while the composition is playing/looping.

Yes, you are completely right, now I see it is would be important to empty the track first. This will be implemented in the next beta version (available soon).
If you want to audition different patterns I suggest that you should study the Idea Tool, and yellukhan's videos in the "A Few Custom Phrases" topic.

The new beta version was uploaded which empties a track before filling it with phrases. There are other improvements as well: new shortcuts, and the universal usage of Shift (=use ghosts) and Ctrl (=use phrase magnet for voice leading) when filling tracks.
