I have a question regarding the randomization engine. Is it intended to affect only the settings of OSC 1 and not for 2 and 3 as well?

Randomisation of OSC2 and 3 would of course be possible from the technical side, but it does not give as characteristic sonic results as only a single osc with a new wavetable does give. I designed the feature as a good starting point for sound-desigers who are looking for inspiration for a new patch

Because of my health situation i decided to develop no further synthesizers. I want to be able to focus on the existing products and provide free updates and improvements without having stress

I changed it with someone for something else and i anyway would not want to resell Icarus. I really like it. So i think it then became a NFR? But i just was not sure if i can use the upgrade then.....because i would like to upgrade to v2.
Saw you edit: No problem....i´m in germany as well and have to go to work in some hours....still no sleep....

Sigh....I know I said I wont upgrade for that prize....but this 1key presets are just to much fun to play with, the drumsequencer with the presets is just to useful even for my kind of music (which is definitely NOT the music shown in the video

), the presets for the arp and fx are so helpful, and then the randomn button really produces useable sound really...not to talk about the physical modelling included now (hope I will ever come deep enough in understanding to be able to use it).

I am really looking forward to the german userguide in this case (it is shown in the englisch manual already in a screenshot

) cause for this beast I will need all the help and understanding I can get.

Maybe the last "sigh": with all this additional functions I feel a little bit thrown out of my comfort zone I had with Icarus1 (and there are not many synths where I could say they are in a comfort zone for me), but maybe this is the best about it

By the way: authorizing was a breaze, of course I am online (otherwise I wont be in here now), all presets are there, bought expansions are there, all fine.

Für Icarus1 gibt es ein deutsches Handbuch. Das erklärt die meisten Features recht gut. Es ist hier erhältlich:

Wahrscheinlich wird es für das Icarus2 Handbuch in Zukunft auch eine deutsche Übersetzung geben. Leider lesen heutzutage viel zu wenig Nutzer die Handbücher :-/

Have been playing with the one finger performance features for the last couple hours and i'm really impressed (blown away actually

)

Though what i'd like to see at some point would be nudge left/right buttons for the Arp/Drums/Glitch sequences
Also sample item drag & drop from host directly into the drum sequencer would be neat someday

For the moment i hope you can and will relax for a while now. It's well deserved
