Have you tried the new Punch2 from Rob Papen released last week?

Looks like it has everything + kitchen sync ;) :D

no i havent. i didnt even know they released version 2. i didnt get along AT ALL with punch though...for being called "punch" i found the sound of the thing to be exceedingly weak, which is odd for a rp plug.

i will certainly take a look at it though...thnx.

Just upgraded to Punch2 and like Punch 1 I still find it unintuitive for me. I think I'm done with Punch for now at least. Like the sound, frustrating to use.
DrumComputer reminds me of Sonic charge microtonic but could be more usable for what I do with less fiddling. Will demo that.

Just finished the first (excellent) tutorial vid from Tom Cosm about the synth-/sound-section on SB's website and if only these 20min of demonstrating DrumComputer do not sell this machine to guys being interested in beat machines... I don't know what else they need.

Looks pretty awesome.

Sequencer is pretty neat and they combined all the nice possibilities you find across several apps (like polyrhytm, decay, probability, mod) in one app.

Unfortunately, just when I thought this one can do it all the aspect of using samples is somewhat neglected. If you compare this with geist, the sample functionality is quite limited, already starting with browsing. There is no sample browser and the way of importing it is a much longer process than just opening samples with geist. This drumcomputer is mainly focused on synthesis.

Punch2 is imo not so good/user friendly as this one but it has a broader scope as there is quite a bit more functionality regarding samples and it also has 24 pads.
8 is ok but more pads gives you more options.

Still, very nice stuff.

Damn this thing is pretty rad. The flexibility is astounding. Once I got into the mod matrix things got real cool real quick. This is like everything I wished Tremor was going to be.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Very very nice.

It wasn't needed BUT I bought it and its LOVELY, great sounds, fun workflow can't complain

Regarding upgrade prices: I have 12 plugins and doesn't matter if logged in or not the bundle is 499€ and the drumplugin 119€. So i would pay 499€ for 3 additional plugins.

I don't think it's "neglected" - it's by design and even you recognise this plugin is focused on synthesis. Still, loading the samples to either of the two engines isn't that hard (although wouldn't mind drag & drop) and the stuff you can do with the samples is pretty unique I'd say:
