Hi,

It is not clear to me how to go about modifying an existing Template and then saving it under a new name.

Having loaded a Template (e.g. Chiptunes), done some modifications, and then done a 'Save As ...' to 'Chiptunes_sj01', if I then go to Templates -> Add Current Composition as Template I am told it already exists in the Templates directory.

I would expect that 'Chiptunes_sj01' <> 'Chiptunes', no?

Is the composition name / file name not what is used as the Template name when you save a Template?

OK, stumbled onto this ...

The File Name that you save to is one thing (whatever you want it to be), and the Title of the composition (as shown in the Title: field of the Master Track inspector) is a separate thing.

When you save a template, the template name is as per the Title: field of the Master Track inspector (aka the "composition title").

Hi,
save as or rename your modified one to elsewhere and copy original one from this zip file to
(PC)
"C:\Users\you\Documents\RapidComposerV3\Templates"
and restart the RC
