Great update hopefully it injects some character in to the sound engine. Great interface, average sound the complete opposite of Massive X...

i agree. massive x sounds better but also uses a lot more CPU. i am looking around to see if the voices settings on the pad presets i am trying are the same .jarnold wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2019 11:34 pm Great update hopefully it injects some character in to the sound engine. I bought Pigments at the intro price when it came out. I enjoyed it, but I have been fairly critical of it for certain limitations that seemed like obvious additions to me - no midi output on the sequencer and no unison on the va osc were on the list of things I complained about. Really appreciate them adding all this for free. I’d still like to see a lot more routing flexibility if this is to be a workhorse competitor to avenger and zebra, although now it can do several things that Zebra can’t.
Thank you Arturia. Looks amazing. Can’t wait to get home and try this out

Well sure, and lots of other things differentiate them; but seriously, this could easily be all you need in this kind of hybrid synthesis if you’re not looking for a full keyboard and are just fine with software, as many are.pdxindy wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:18 pmYeah... almost a VST Quantum... well, except 6 operator FMrealtrance wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2019 9:27 pm This should seriously give pause to anyone considering a Quantum. In some ways it's more flexible, and sure is less expensive!![]()

It's called a "west coast" low pass gate because it was originally a Buchla concept.

Some have been waiting for MSoundFactory to get granular, and I wonder how it might compare when it does.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Maybe I'm late to the party but what's up with this? Site says "Free update for all Pigments owners" and then it offers me a $49 upgrade immediately below that (I'm already an owner). Open to the update center and it auto updates my software to v2.0.0747.

As an existing licensee of Pigments, you get a free update to v2.0 for that license. Should you wish to purchase another license for yourself (for some reason), you are entitled to purchase that additional license for $49.Vaultnaemsae wrote: Fri Dec 13, 2019 3:22 am Maybe I'm late to the party but what's up with this?
