Instant audio recorder for jamming (multichannel)?

Hi,

Sometimes I just quickly sit at my desk and start jamming with my synths. They are fed to my PC via indivisual channels of my audio interface.

Now instead of launching DAW, arming, recording etc, I am looking for a (simple) audio recorder, which essrntially records all my channels directly when started - or without big hazzle.

Do you have a suggestions if something like that exists or how to realize best?

Have you thought of saving a template project with armed and enabled tracks set up for your audio ins, so you only have to load that and hit record? How to do that depends on your DAW (and maybe some can't, I don't know).
